
Want to bleat bullying? Get your classmates involved in the school fundraising programme and join thousands of schools in raising money for Beatbullying during November’s Anti-Bullying Week!
Here are some ideas you might like to try:
- Shaun the Sheep Bleats Bullying day. Pupils pay £1 to wear their favourite (woolly) jumper to school.
- Blue day. (Blue is the colour of anti-bullying week).
Pupils pay £1 to wear blue to school for the day.
- Blue Hair day. Pupils can pay £1 and have their hair sprayed blue.
- Beatbullying face painting. Using blue as the theme, pupils can pay £1 and have two great big B’s painted on their face.
- Shaun the Sheep Sponsored Baa-aa-aa. Pupils are sponsored for how many baa-aaa-aa’s they can do over a period of time.
- Beatbullying paper chain:
Pupils can be sponsored per link they create. Classes can join the chain together to create a ‘friendship chain’. See if it will stretch around the classroom/playground/school.
Maybe use sheep shapes and join them together to create a paper chain of Shaun the Sheep.
- Beatbullying friendship cards. Pupils make cards for each other, saying nice things to their friends, promoting friendship. Pupils then pay for that card to be delivered to their friend – eg 50p a card.
- Beatbullying Big Fun Day. Make anti-bullying week fun, doing games and lessons using the resources. All pupils pay £1.
- Beatbullying’s School Treasure Hunt. Pupils pay £1 and can enter as teams, following fun anti-bullying clues to find the ‘treasure’.
- Beatbullying Karaoke competition. Pupils pay £1 to enter, with a judging panel of teachers/pupils. Teachers can also enter!
- Beatbullying Rapping Competition. Groups of pupils devise and sing a rap, they pay £1 to enter and the winners get a prize.
- Beatbullying quiz.
- Name the baby. Teacher bring in pictures of themselves as babies. Pupils pay £1 to enter to guess who is who, winners win prizes.
- Beatbullying non-uniform day. Pupils pay £1 to wear their own clothes to school for a day.
- Mad tie day. If your pupils wear ties, ask them to pay £1 to wear the worst tie they can find, or their Dad’s worst tie.
- Sponsored Beatbullying silence. Pupils are sponsored (by parents, relatives etc) to stay silent for a period of time. eg £1 for 10 minutes.
- Beatbullying Tuck Shop Day – all profits got to Beatbullying.
- A sponsored Beatbullying walk, run or swim.
- A Beatbullying class collection.
- Have a fashion show. Use blue as a theme or dress up as fashion sheep!
- Take bids for services from parents or workgroups.
- Organise a mums' event like a pamper evening.
