What do culture, religion, faith, conflict, bullying, difference and community mean to you?

This is what the BB Interfaith project is concerned with. The BB team have been working across London to find out what is going on in your schools and communities and talking to hundreds of you about what you think should be done about these issues.

Many of you have told us that bullying based on your religion and culture is happening; that it is affecting your studies, your friendships, and your opportunities. Many of you are also telling us that the bullying is also related to your appearance, the types of clothing you wear, symbols you wear, the friends you have, the culture you are brought up in.  The workshops we are conducting give you the opportunity to really make a difference and start to shape the way your peers, schools and communities deal with this very specific form of bullying and conflict.

Whatever your experience, get in touch with the Beatbullying Development team. We are always looking for young people to join up and work on this project: to create films that explore the issues of faith-based bullying and cultural differences that can cause conflict and bullying.
